    Current TWC Internet Speeds

In some markets there is now an Internet 50 tier for only 29.99. This is for those who do not need the speed of Internet 100 or 200 (depending on the area) and want to save a little $.

    PS Vue to shutter

https://blog.us.playstation.com/2019/10/29/sony-interactive-entertainment-to-shut-down-playstation-vue/ Kind of expected, but it looks like Sony is discontinuing PS Vue on 1/30/2020. Sony is saying that it is too expensive to run a vMVPD business and that Vue subscribers will not be billed...

    Orby TV

Some say that Orby TV is being financed by the Dolan's as Charles Dolan might have wanted to get back at Dish for the Voom channels.

    Orby TV

https://orbytv.com I was watching some trashy reality TV show and saw a commercial for Orby which is a hybrid Satellite/OTA service. Promises to be $40/month with an optional $50/month. It seems to have a good list of channels, but not all are in HD as it uses 2 transponders on an Eutelsat...

ODN 9.0 is out in certain areas and seems to have bugs in the search function on advanced boxes.

    Sinclair

Latest rumors is that Nexstar is going to buy Tribune but not sure what will happen to KSWB. Could still be divested to Fox TV stations so it can be run as an O&O, but not sure.

    No Impact in San Diego?

ATSC 3.0 is going to be a while for sure. 600 MHz transition also affects Wireless microphones as a lot of them use that frequency so now the manufacturers are making new equipment that works with lower frequencies.

I need to update the subtitles on the forums.

    KFMB sold to TEGNA

KFMB is using TEGNA graphics, but it seems like the station is becoming more and more like TEGNA as the time goes on. Also, in the morning news, Stella Inger Escobedo is now a morning anchor.

    No Impact in San Diego?

I could see 1080p with HDR as a likely compromise for OTA. 4K is likely relegated for streaming and those who still wish to buy 4K BD's. However, there will likely be no CECB for ATSC 3.0 should there be another transition.

    Any TWC Navigator Updates/News?

I wonder how is Navigator doing since I am no longer a TWC subscriber.

Since the Navigator thread has been so popular on this site, perhaps it is time for Spectrum Guide to have its own thread.
