A bit of disappointment--at our house, the 2011 Superbowl was only 720p on Cox ch. 705.
I assume this was due to bandwidth consumed by 69.2 and 69.3, correct?

Was there another feed at 1080 resolution??

No. All HD programming from Fox is 720p. It's actually better for motion sports than is 1080i.

So goes the claim. One often hears the argument that 720p is as good as or better than 1080i with fast motion.

In practice, I have never seen a game on Fox, ABC, or ESPN that looks as good as football on CBS on my 1080p front projector.
