The Cox-TiVo OnDemand over IP that has now launched nationwide, I suspect has partly been a trial roll-out of the Cox IP OnDemand that the Contour 2 - X1 platform will be using.

My understanding is that Contour-2 will be phased in slowly until finally the original Contour is phased out completely. Bummer, since my 8642/Contour is finally performing flawlessly.I wonder what will happen to existing 9865 boxes and Contour 2, if they will get the Contour 2 UI as an update or have 2 types of 9865HDC with or without Contour like the 8642 with Rovi and Contour.
