This past quarter saw the replacement of the two HR22 boxes with spankin' new HR24-200s. Also added a new sound system, and a 2nd Gen AppleTV.

Waiting for an HR-34…

I'm probably going to win for worst setup for someone who is a member of a HDTV forum. ;)

AT&T U-Verse Max Internet
2-Wire 3801HGV Gateway

AT&T U-Verse U200 TV package with HD
Hannspree XV 32" 720p LCD HDTV (HDTV in glorious 720p!)
AT&T U-Verse/Motorola VIP1225 DVR
Magnavox NB500MG9 BD player (the Funai manufactured $298 WalMart BD player that Best Buy sold under the Insigna brand and other places as Sylvania)
Panasonic PV-V4623S VHS VCR ($40 at Circuit City)
Apple Mac mini 1.66GHz Intel Core Duo (this was to be my iPhone dev machine but has mostly ended up doing duty as a Hulu streaming box)

I also own but don't have connected to anything are a 19" Samsung CRT TV (mono speaker FTW!), a Philips upconverting DVD player, and a 10+ year old GE DVD player.

It doesn't matter, as the OEM of Hanspree TV's end up making more pricey brands :). HD is HD. I only have 1 1080p HDTV so you're fine.

Just spent the better part of a year upgrading-

Living Room:

Denon 4311
Samsung UN46D800 (My newest toy....Space constrained with a built in, takes up every lateral inch available. Replaced a Samsung HLM437W)
Polk In Ceiling Speakers x 7
Polk 10" Sub
DirecTV HR24 (SWM/5LNB)
Panasonic DMP-BD80
X-Box 360 Elite (Mostly for media center functionality - I had delousions of grandure on this at one point)
Logitech Harmony 1100
D-Link 4 5-Port switch

Master:

DirecTV HR24
Samsung HM437W (Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. On it's fourth bulb and second colorwheel which was replaced when it was 3 years old. DLPs were bulky, but they were bad ass in terms of reliability)
Samsung HT-C6600 (Made a nice addition. Has HDMI inputs so the HR24 goes to it then a HDMI-DVI cable connects to the HLM437W. Worked out nice)
X-Box 360 Elite (Mostly for media center functionality - I had delousions of grandure on this at one point)
D-Link 5 port switch and wireless access point

Guest:

DirecTV HR24
Samsung UN32D6000
Samsung BD-C5900
D-Link 5 Port Switch

Kids Rooms:

Nothing, nada. No soup for you!

Office:

Homebuilt computer. D975XBX2 + Intel Quad Core. Termaltake Case and Power. Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit. (If Apple introduces a Mac with BD this is toast. I've recently found that the DirecTV boxes are able to read iTunes files, at least they do on my machine. I deleted all the Windows Media versions in my Music Folder. Then again it could be because I'm on a Windows 7 machine. Reportedly, it's not supposed to work as well as it does.)
Hub: Various patch pannel and phone modules from Open House systems. D-Link DSL Modem/Router. AT&T DSL Elite.

Still hoping that one day Microsft will offer a blu-ray side car.... Or maybe but a BD drive in a future version of the X-Box...

Yes, yes I did, and I am so much better for it. They're quite a bit faster than those HR22 P.O.S. (post updated, I'l have new photos soon, I just added an Apple TV last night, too.

I'm beginning to think you lurk at DBSTalk?

I think I have an account there, but I don't post often. I might post later on when my TWC bundle expires.

I also bought new speakers for my computer. They aren't the most high end, but they're nice for what you get. I have Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 speakers.

I've upgraded my current Q6600 desktop to 64 bit Win7 SP1. I still need to get the linux drive to coexist, but Win7 is a nice OS. I did use IE8 do what it's designed for, to download Firefox :).

I got my 64 bit Ubuntu working as well. Now I have W7 and Ubuntu, though I still need to get another drive working. Possibly get XP, W7 x64, and Ubuntu 64 all in one machine.
