My latest speed test on my Galaxy Nexus (Verizon 4G LTE)! This test was done in the car with 4 bars of reception. Beat that!

My newest speedtest on my Cisco DPC2100r2. This modem seems to be much faster than my SB4100. I do not know why I did not swap this sooner.

Had my RT-N66U installed for a few days, and it is definitely an improvement over my WNDR3700v1. Range is a lot better, especially in my oddly laid out house. I get 2 bars in the downstars kitchen family room on my Galaxy Nexus, which could barely get a wifi signal. All other Wifi devices report improved range. I am also running the latest Merlin FW which is the stock Asus FW with a few improvements including 64k NVRAM, but I would like to try Shibby Tomato Firmware, to see if it is any better, but Merlin is ok for now. This router is not cheap, but I definitely recommend it if you want a router with excellent range.

Speed to Intel Core2Duo desktop running WinXP.

TWC -> Motorola SB5100 -> Custom pfSense firewall/router -> GB switch -> GB NIC (all Cat6 copper)

My setup is largely the same, but I do have a SB6141 modem instead of the SB5100.

Adding my speedtest.. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/2973593147

Admin65 are you still enjoying the new router? Does it require any 'scheduled' restarts etc?

I still like my SB6141. It is a nice modem, but probably unnecessary. I still have the SB5100 as a backup. TWC is getting rid of powerboost, so to compensate, they overprovision the tiers by 10 percent. My router is running well, despite running an older Merlin Firmware.
